Buyer Protection Policy
Last updated: [Insert launch date]
ggmarket holds a buyer's payment through an escrow-style balance and releases it to the seller only after delivery is confirmed and any applicable hold period has passed. This page explains what that protection does and does not cover.
1. What Buyer Protection Covers
Buyer protection may apply when:
- the seller does not deliver
- the item or service is materially different from the listing
- credentials are invalid or incomplete
- the seller attempts recovery after delivery
- the provider fails to complete the agreed service
- fraud is detected
2. What Buyer Protection Does Not Cover
Buyer protection may not cover:
- buyer remorse
- publisher bans unrelated to seller fraud
- buyer misuse after delivery
- account damage caused by buyer actions
- off-platform deals
- orders completed outside ggmarket
- chargeback abuse
3. Keep Communication On-Platform
Buyers should keep order communication inside ggmarket's order chat so support can review the evidence if a dispute occurs.
4. Confirming Delivery
Only confirm delivery when the order matches the listing and you have checked the delivered account or service. Confirming delivery starts the release process.
5. Off-Platform Risk
ggmarket cannot protect transactions completed outside the platform.
6. A Note on PayPal
Payments are processed through PayPal. Any PayPal buyer protection is governed by PayPal's own terms and eligibility, separate from ggmarket's process. ggmarket does not guarantee that every order qualifies for PayPal protection.
